Participation
There are plenty of opportunities for children to take part in a broad range of different activities, wherever their interest may lie. There are clubs for cooking, gardening, art, mindfulness, creating comics, board games, science, creating films, ITC, Mandarin and much more. And that’s in addition to all the sports clubs (football, basketball, netball, gymnastics, rugby and more). There are also ECO committees, Food and Fitness, Sports, Digital Leaders and UNICEF where pupils have an opportunity to influence school life. The school takes every opportunity to partake in local, national and international activities, including meetings with Anglesey County Council, the Senedd, the Children’s Commissioner, the House of Commons speaker and even a visit from a US Ambassador! Our pupils also compete in local eisteddfodau as well as the Urdd Eisteddfod and Llangollen International Eisteddfod in competitions such as choirs, bands, musicals, drama, recitals and literature; as well as a variety of STEM activities including an F1 competition. Whatever the pupil is interested in – there’s something for everyone!
